What should I pack for a week at the beach?
Two swimsuits so one is always dry, a cover-up, a hat and sunglasses, high-SPF sunscreen and after-sun, flip flops plus one pair of real shoes, light clothes for the day and one warmer layer for evenings, a beach towel and bag, a book or e-reader, and your documents, cards and chargers.
How much sunscreen do I need for a week?
An adult using sunscreen correctly goes through roughly 30 ml per full-body application, so a 200 ml bottle lasts about a week of daily beach days for one person. Pack more than you think, since it is often expensive at resorts.
What do people forget on beach holidays?
A travel adapter, a power bank, a waterproof phone pouch, after-sun lotion, medication for upset stomachs, and a copy of their travel insurance details. All of these are on the list above.
